Registration

The lectures of the Dutch Master Program in Mathematics are open to all students who are registered in a master program in Mathematics at one of the Dutch universities. There is no additional registration fee and students do not have to register at the universities where the courses will be given. You can find the Registration Form in the menu at the top of this page. Travel costs

Only students who have a 'weekend OV-studentenjaarkaart' or NS reduction card ('Voordeelurenkaart')and students without any reduction card can claim their travel expenses. Rules for reimbursement of travel expenses:

  • only costs for travelling from the city of the home university of the student to the venue of a course will be reimbursed (trainticket and costs for bus/metro/tram in the city where the course will take place)
  • reimbursement will be calculated on a base of travelling by public transportation, second class and use of the OV-strippenkaart
  • there is no reimbursement for travel expenses for courses that take place in the city of the home university
  • students have to submit their train tickets and (if applicable) a copy of their 'weekend OV-studentenjaarkaart' or NS reduction card ('Voordeeluren kaart')
  • in case the prize of a NS-reduction card is less that the difference of normally prised train tickets and reduced train tickets use to attend mastermath courses, the student can apply for reimbursement of the NS-reduction card. This has to clear from one reimbursement form.
  • students must sign an attendence list at the beginning of each meeting

It is advisable to claim the travel expenses about once a month, so that your bills will not incur. You can find the  Reimbursement Form in the menu at the top of this page. It usually takes 3 to 4 weeks to get your refund.
