Courses, credits and examination

• Registration
  Registration on our website is obligatory in order to follow courses and obtain credit points. Please fill out the registration form .

Credits

Credit points (cp) are measured in European credit points. According to the European Credit Transfer System the work of 1 full year (of 42 weeks) is represented by 60 cp.

Examination

A student must take the examination for a course in the examination period immediately following the class meetings. The grades of the examination (an integer 1 through 10) will be communicated to the student by the instructor. The results are filed at  the central administration. Once every two months a transcript of the students' records will be sent to his/her university. 

If a student does not pass the examination he/she must make an appointment with the instructor for a make up examination. The instructor reports the date of the appointment to the managing director. See also the section Exam and Grades in HIFI.
